Welcome message from Maddie Eiting, 2024-25
Wrightstown FBLA President
Welcome to the Wrightstown Future Business Leaders of America page! My name is Maddie Eiting and I am the President of Wrightstown FBLA for the 2024-2025 school year. I have been a superior active member of the club since my freshman year and have been involved in many activities since then. FBLA has been very beneficial in helping me grow in many different ways by offering me numerous opportunities in the business world and in my community. These experiences have helped strengthen vital skills for my future endeavors and created everlasting memories. FBLA gives students the opportunity to learn about business by competing in events, helping out the community, and participating in various activities.
FBLA is a popular nationwide student organization that helps prepare high school students for their future careers by teaching them the skills and knowledge that they will need to succeed. There are over 80 different competitive events for students to participate in. The events consist of tests, presentations, and interviews. Every year members can participate in one of these events at the Region III Leadership Conference held in February. Our club has taken first place at regionals for the past 15 years! This past year we had 96 members compete and 42 members placed in the top three in their event at regionals and advanced onto State FBLA. Then five of them placed in the top four at State advancing onto Nationals. Congratulations to Reagan Juntunen who placed fifth in the nation for the Computer Applications event! Our club includes many other fun activities like our NCAA March Madness brackets, the used eyeglasses drive, writing cards for senior citizens in the community, and running our very popular annual Senior Citizen Christmas Party. This party is a perfect way for the senior citizens in our community to come in and celebrate the Christmas season with food, games, prizes and more. In addition to all these fun activities we also do Future Business Leaders of America week. FBLA week is filled with fun themes, prizes, and treats in the purpose of recognizing our club. We will also be offering a free donut to anyone who comes to our very first meeting so be sure to attend!
I’ve been a member of FBLA throughout my entire high school career and I believe that everyone should join. I have made so many memories and have had so much fun being a part of this club. FBLA has also provided me with lots of opportunities and is a fantastic resume builder.
