Girls Soccer is an outdoor spring activity that runs from March to the end of May. It is a highly competitive and physical sport where 11 players work towards a common goal. It provides lasting memories both on and off the field for players. Practices and games run throughout the school week, with a few seasonal tournaments on the weekends. We always host at least one tournament each year. At the JV level we work towards learning the fundamentals and skill needed to excel at the Varsity level. On JV, each player is guaranteed minutes in games in order to develop those game skills. Once a player moves to the Varsity level, the game becomes quicker and much more competitive, requiring players to always challenge themselves.
In the off-season, players often play on summer leagues and indoor leagues in the winter in order to refine and hone in particular skills. Girls will start getting numbers of incoming players in the late fall in order to get the girls working together in indoor leagues as well as providing some open gyms, but officially meet in early March to begin the official season.
