College applications and scholarships may require a letter of recommendation.  It is the student's responsibility to confirm the method in which letters should be submitted.

Obtain at least 3 letters of recommendation

Use the form above to obtain letters of recommendation. The more the person knows about you, they can write a better letter. Ask at least 3 individuals (teacher, coach, employer, counselor, club advisor, principal, volunteer supervisor, etc…) to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf for scholarship requests and provide them with a copy of your resume. Try to choose someone who knows you and will only say good things about you. Be sure to allow them 10-14 days for the completion of the letter.

Keep the original letters of recommendation for your records and make several copies of each letter to attach to scholarship applications.
